Specialist in the diagnosis, conservation and restoration of painted surfaces since 1970, the ARCOA workshop is dedicated to the restoration of paintings, large monumental painted decorations and polychromatic furniture and objects.
ARCOA works with all types of support: stone, mortar, plaster, wood, canvas, whitewash, paintings on every sort of surface. In this area, their numerous and prestigious references testify to a high level of experience and expertise: The Sainte Cécile Cathedral in Albi, the Russian Church of Geneva, the Saint-Pierre Cathedral in Poitiers, the Saint-Sauveur Church on l’Ile d’Yeu.
Whatever the size and nature of the work to be restored, the workshop’s approach is organized according to predefined intervention protocols. The restorers put all their sensibility as well as their scientific knowledge to the service of their work, which is both an art and a science.
