Atelier de la Boiserie was founded in 1963 from the merger of several workshops in the Paris and Provence regions. This merger enabled the various craftsmen to offer their own unique set of skills and expertise; this re-grouping was a success due to their extensive knowledge and talent.
As specialists in design, manufacturing, fitting and restoration of decorative woodworks; Atelier de la Boiserie are also masters in the production of highly complex designs. Today, Atelier de la Boiserie continues to apply their extensive knowledge to prestigious projects across France as well as overseas, in cities such as Moscow, London, New-York and San Francisco; working alongside some of the world’s most renowned architects and interior designers.
Their workshops employ 55 people divided into 2 different production sites, the first one is located in the 11th neighborhood in Paris, the historic center of cabinetmaking production in Paris. The second one is located in the Apt valley at Gargas in the south of France, which is the main production site. In January 2019 in order to consolidate their presence in Switzerland, Atelier de la Boiserie opened an office in Morges, close to Lausanne.
