Giving life to exceptional interiors worldwide

Painting, decorative painting, Cordoba leather

The Mériguet-Carrère workshop was first established in 1960 by Mr. Paul Mériguet. Mériguet’s workshop restores and creates the most beautiful paint and gilded work in the world, preserving XVII century artistic traditions.

Their extensive expertise in Trompe l’oeil painting of marble and wood, decorative painting and embossed and gilded leather, among other specialties, originates from the transfer of ancient techniques from experienced craftsmen to their apprentices over the centuries to the present day.

Under the management of Antoine Courtois and Laurent Gosseaume, Meriguet Carrère works on exceptional projects including castles, churches, mansions, luxury shops and high-end apartments.

The firm’s work references combine historic monuments, exceptional private domains and important rooms created under the direction of world-famous interior architects and designers. These include the Chateaux’s at Versailles and Fontainbleau, the Opera Garnier in Paris, the Elysée Palace, (France’s presidential Palace), as well as Yves Saint Laurent’s residence in Deauville by decorator Jacques Grange, decorator Alberto Pinto’s bedroom and Ladurée’s shop in Monaco by Roxanne Rodriguez.
