Based in Montreuil (93) since its foundation in 1987, Paris Charpente specializes in wood and metal constructions. From the manufacture and installation of traditional timber frames to the construction and installation of metal structures and the restoration of heritage frames, Paris Charpente masters all the skills of the past and the techniques of the present to offer specific solutions adapted to each project.

Strongly attached to its local roots in Paris and the Île-de-France region, Paris Charpente designs and builds structures incorporating wood, a noble, sustainable and renewable material par excellence, and steel for its mechanical properties and outstanding advantages.

As the company attaches great importance to its environmental impact, it uses wood sourced mainly from France, and pays particular attention to optimizing its waste management.

Paris Charpente‘s achievements include the lifting of the nave, choir and apse of Notre-Dame de Paris, the temporary supply bridge for the palais de l’Elysée, the Château de Versailles’ auditorium, the steel framework for the Paris police headquarters and the metal “stool” used in the restoration of the Pantheon dome.
