Founded in 1960, Atelier Mériguet-Carrère specializes on general paint projects, decorative painting and restoration of listed buildings and monuments.
Designated as a Living Heritage Company by the French Government, Mériguet-Carrère decided in 2017 to create its own paint brand that reflects this heritage. The selection of 144 colors comes as the result of a unique selection of tones created during prestigious works of decorative painting, and the color names such as Soie argentée, Air du temps, Cuir laqué, Villa Cavrois… are colors that find their origin in the history of French decorative arts and its architectural heritage. These colors are presented in the flagship showroom at 240 Boulevard Saint-Germain in the heart of the interior design and antique district of Paris.
As part of our continued passion and dedication, in January 2018 Mériguet-Carrère created its first wallpaper collection comprised of eight patterns based on six of our most beautiful paint colors available in various tones.
